Margot was born within 30 minutes of the phone call from her daddy and actually closer to 15. Emily is a nurse in Nurse Practitioner school and as a home birthing mama of two myself, I was confident we could have handled the unassisted birth if necessary.

I know I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again, I love births. They’re just so sacred, a new life is here and on this planet and we can honor that by documenting how they got here. I love watching the strength of a mother surface and her first few moments with her new human.
