Beni Newborn

I love when strong powerful women in my life make new humans because I know they’re gonna grow up strong like their mama. Justine is a local bakery owner and her partner is one of the funniest kindest people I’ve ever worked with. After all their challenges along the way to become a family of three, I was so honored she trusted me to document her new family together and healthy. Baby Beni was about a month old in these images, while many families opt to get newborn sessions done right away, I want everyone to know there’s no perfect time to get your baby’s photo taken, the best time is NOW. New babies have their own characteristics and it’s beautiful to document, and babies a little older start to show characteristics in their faces, they’re a little rounder and fuller, they’re still tiny and new, but they are a bit more durable, able to hold their heads up just a bit easier, a little less intimidating to pose and change quickly. The point being that it’s not too late to get your newborn session! All of these images were captured from a safe social distance and with a mask on my face because of covid. The safety of my clients and their new babies is first and foremost. always.
