The Perfect Romantic Backyard Couple In-Home Photoshoot in Southern California
When looking for an intimate photographer there is so much to consider. You want to find someone you trust to photograph you in your most vulnerable and intimate space. So, here’s a little list of what to consider and where, I, Jennifer Lind Schutsky, stand on each section.
Part 2:
4. Location & Availability
Knowledge of scenic or unique locations for photoshoots. I am an expert on many spaces around Phoenix and various destinations. I always scout sites when traveling and of course existing within my own city and state (Phoenix area, Arizona). I can easily travel anywhere in the United States thanks to inexpensive air travel, but the majority of my shoots take place in Arizona and the Southwestern United States.
Availability for specific dates, especially for engagements and elopements. My availability is currently flexible with weekday mornings and evenings with occasional openings during the week with short notice, though, I will say Fridays and weekends are booked often months in advance. Weddings specifically should be inquired about 6-12 months ahead of time to ensure availability for your specific date!
5. Pricing & Packages
Budget-friendly options vs. high-end photography services: I would say I’m between both worlds. I try to price my services for a variety of budgets, and while I would love to continue shooting at a more inclusive rate for those with fixed incomes, my services are highly valued and desired - so, I have had to cut back on discounts. However, I LOVE to do creative projects (you can sign up for model calls here), I also do sliding scale for pay what you can rates during the holidays only and will do a 15/20/30 minute session based on your offer. Otherwise, all packages and services are fixed rates with hour sessions at $555 plus tax and event photography at $300 an hour. You can inquire here for your project and if the occasion aligns with a personal creative goal I might just accept your offer.
Package details: number of edited photos, print rights, albums, turnaround time. Packages vary but start as low as $250 for 20 minute sessions for returning clients or mini sessions all the way up to $7000 for full day wedding packages and services. Turn around time for delivery of edited images is 1-2 weeks for all sessions except weddings which have a 4-6 week turn around time frame. I tend to deliver about 60 images per hour depending on how lively the session is and occasionally more, but that is my contract minimum. Client maintains print rights for all images, though commercial license does cost extra. Wedding packages come with prints and albums but other sessions are for your use as desired to be printed wherever you think best, though you can order prints directly from the client website where you download your images.
6. Reviews & Reputation
