Amy Senior Session
For the class of 2020, my heart hurts. They've worked so hard for the past 13 years and now at their time to celebrate, we've shut everything down. My responsibility as a photographer is to to document everything. So from a distance, with a good lens, I captured these senior photos. For this session we headed to the Verrado community in Buckeye, Arizona. I’ve never been to this area of Arizona before and was surprised how beautiful the area is. I found every nook and open air space we could shoot in our hour session. The community backs up to a beautiful Mountain range and has access to hiking tails and glamorous views of Phoenix. I’ve included my favorites from the session below. You might notice a few images that appear out of place, but that’s because I believe 10% of my delivered images should be something new and creative I haven’t tried before, it might be a new color filter, or maybe a blurry focal point, even odd crops or uneven light exposure. These are very much on purpose. I believe these weird edits are where the magic happens. They’re not accidents they creative consciousness coming to the surface. Let me know what you think;
