AZ Heritage Wedding

Krista and Patrick got married on February 23, 2019 at the Arizona Historical Society in Tempe, Arizona. It was the most unusual weekend, as it had just snowed in the desert and the snow cap mountaintops were visible from the courtyard of their venue. I was photographing this wedding with Amber and we were obsessed with the nature trail behind the venue, we took family and bridal party photos there, while the guests enjoyed a cocktail hour on the patio where the ceremony took place. When photographing weddings we always get to know the couple, it’s impossible not to, there’s so much joy and excitement everyone is sharing personal stories and their favorite memories we really become their shadows for they day. I don’t take the experience lightly and hold so much gratitude for the trust the couples have in us to capture every important moment from their day.
